As part of Geneva Peace Week 2025, the Centre on Conflict, Development & Peacebuilding (CCDP), adelphi global, and the Toda Peace Institute are convening hybrid panel discussion at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy to explore the climate-peace nexus in Asia and the Pacific. Drawing on lessons and case studies from Sri Lanka and Papua New Guinea, the panel will explore practical strategies for linking climate action to conflict prevention and sustainable peace to turn climate action into peace in action. This discussion aims at informing a broader dialogue on how climate action and finance can be leveraged to prevent conflict, promote resilience, and advance sustainable peace, offering lessons for global strategies.
