Boubacar T. Assoumana

    Boubacar T. Assoumana is currently working with Mercy Corps, a non-Profit Organization as a Project Manager on resilience to environmental shocks, and is a member of the Climate Security Expert Network. Prior to that, he worked with Mercy Corps, primarily as project officer in 2018 on climate information services. In this role he investigated the internal and external factors of a climate information services system that promotes the access, use and effectiveness of climate information for smallholder farmers. He also conducted assessments on food security and natural resource management. Boubacar T. Assoumana holds a PhD in Climate Change and Agriculture from a Germany German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)-funded project called WASCAL, hosted by the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Cape Coast, Ghana.
