2023 GRID Launch Event

The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) is launching its 2023 Global Report on Internal Displacement. This is its eighth edition and will focus on food insecurity as a driver, impact and potential barrier to solutions for internal displacement.

IDMC's Global Report on Internal Displacement (GRID) is the world’s most trusted source of data and analysis on the risk, scale and impacts of internal displacement. During the event, IDMC will present its figures on internal displacement triggered by conflict and disasters at the global level and latest estimates on the economic impacts of displacement. It will also feature a panel of experts to discuss the relationship between food security and internal displacement in efforts to identify development solutions for IDPs across the world.
