The meeting will discuss, among others: (i) the rules of procedure of the Conference of the Parties, including the modalities for meaningful public participation (article 15.4a); (ii) the financial provisions necessary for the operation and implementation of the Agreement (article 15.4b); and (iii) rules for the composition and functioning of the Implementation and Compliance Support Committee (article 18.1). Strategies for effective implementation of the Agreement will also be discussed and the anniversary of its entry into force and the international Mother Earth Day will be celebrated.
