London Climate Action Week 2021

26 June 2021 - 4 July 2021

HARNESSING THE POWER OF LONDON FOR GLOBAL CLIMATE ACTION: London Climate Action Week brings together world leading array of climate professionals and communities.

What is London Climate action week?

Founded in 2019 LCAW has become the largest independent climate change event in Europe and hosted over 200 events with 40K attendees at its last virtual event in November 2020.

LCAW aims to influence and shape global climate action but is also rooted in the reality of London as a global City. LCAW aims to be a catalyst to help London accelerate its transformation towards a net zero, equitable and resilient future.

Climate change is an existential threat, requiring us all to act. At LCAW we acknowledge this and welcome the diversity of perspectives and experiences of all Londoners.

Climate change is a systemic challenge requiring all sectors and disciplines to work more closely together to develop and unleash innovative solutions.

As recent global events are teaching us, we must navigate the complexity of multiple challenges that threaten our economic and societal resilience; acknowledging the need forge a just transition to a net zero future that embraces diversity and plays its part in tackling disadvantage and division.

LCAW creates an open space for London’s unique and world leading array of climate organisations, professionals and sectoral actors to come together to find practical solutions to climate change.

As many Londoners have international heritage, connections and experience LCAW has a global perspective. LCAW includes culturally rich events and initiatives with impacts and outcomes felt far beyond London’s geographic boundaries.

In doing so, LCAW supports the development of an ambitious and lively London climate cluster to tackle climate issues during LCAW and throughout the year.
