Women in Climate Diplomacy

16 March 2021
Online

Hosted by Caroline Lucas MP, this vital discussion will look at the role of women in global climate diplomacy.

We will explore the critical role women played in delivering the Paris Agreement. We will examine whether women are well-enough represented in the UK's Presidency of COP26. And we will outline a vision for women at the heart of a new, more effective multilateralism.

Panellists include: Amber Rudd (Head of UK Delegation to 2015 Paris Climate Summit), Lisa Nandy MP (Shadow Foreign Secretary), while Patricia Espinosa (UN Climate Change Executive Secretary) and Anne Marie Trevelyan MP (UK International Adaptation & Resilience Champion, COP26 Presidency) have also been invited.
