Fynn Kaltenpoth is a Consultant in adelphi's Climate Diplomacy and Security programme, working at the intersection of environmental affairs, responsible business conduct, and peace in fragile and high-risk contexts. He brings experience advising private sector actors, governments, and peacebuilding organisations on conflict- and climate-sensitive engagement, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, and mediation support. His work spans field-level engagement and high-level policy advisory: from supporting conflict- and climate-sensitive recovery in Syria to advising development banks on environmental and social risk management across Sub-Saharan Africa and accompanying political lobbying processes. He has also worked on mediation processes ranging from community-level resource disputes and corporate human rights cases to formal national peace negotiations.
