2026 Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development

The Twelfth Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development will be held from 28 to 30 April 2026.

As part of the preparatory process for the 2026 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), the UN Regional Commissions are convening regional forums for sustainable development were convened by the Regional Commissions. The regional forums are platforms at the regional level for assessing progress and exchanging knowledge, best practices and policy solutions to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, in line with regional priorities and specificities. As such, The Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development will be held from 28 to 30 April 2026.

This year SDGs are:

Clean water and sanitation (Goal-6)
Affordable and clean energy (Goal-7)
Industry, innovation and infrastructure (Goal-9)
Sustainable cities and communities (Goal-11)
Partnership for the Goals (Goal-17)
