Berlin, Germany

The first is Germany's National Interdisciplinary Climate Risk Assessment, a recently published analysis of how climate impacts will ultimately influence the security of Germany and the EU until 2040. The second, the report Navigating Peace in a Changing Climate: Climate and Security Trend Analysis, identifies five core pathways on which policymakers need to focus to accurately assess climate risks. The identified pathways bring home the message that the EU is strategically placed to address climate and security challenges.

Additionally, we bring you a Conversation on Land Restoration and Security, lessons from phase two of the implementation of the Wadi El Ku Catchment Management Project, and an article that argues for targeted, evidence-based investments in peace programming that integrate climate and environmental security, such as the Weathering Risk Peace Pillar.
