Sea Change: Evolving Maritime Geopolitics in the Indo-Pacific Region

in brief sea changeThis volume by the Stimson Center emerged from exchanges between scholars and practitioners during a three-day workshop in India with the same title. The publication reflects the growing geo-political complexity in the Indo-Pacific, mapping the numerous trends of socio-economic and environmental change and pointing towards the resulting challenges of maritime governance. The natural resources dimension is explicitly reflected in a chapter on energy exploitation as well as in a piece on fisheries, food security and the influence of climate change.
