Nature-Based Recovery: A path to a global green recovery

5 June 2020
Online

Can nature-based solutions be part of post-pandemic global recovery efforts? This webinar, organised by Climate Action and Capitals Coalition, will explore these possibilities.

COVID-19 has proven that our biggest global challenges cannot be seen or tackled in isolation, they are health, economic, social and environmental challenges all at once – and must be tackled systemically. Nature-based solutions are one tool that we can use to deliver value to nature, people and economies through single smart policies and interventions.

In 2019, nature-based solutions and natural capital approaches continued to gather considerable momentum in the global conversation around resilience and sustainable development. As calls to ‘Build Back Better’ become ever louder on the global stage, placing the value of nature at the centre of recovery plans will be vital to ensure we do not repeat the mistakes of the past.
