Climate change and security in the United Nations Assistance Mission to Somalia
The United Nations Assistance Mission to Somalia (UNSOM) is one of the first political missions globally to have climate and environmental language in its mandate. What are the activities and initiatives the UN in Somalia has implemented in order to fulfil this mandate and address the links between climate change, environment and conflict in the country?
