African Climate Vulnerability Dashboard by CCAPS

This September, the Strauss Center's Climate Change and African Political Stability (CCAPS) programme has presented its new dashboard that analyses the vulnerability of African countries to climate-induced risks according to the center’s own model. It encompasses four major factors: physical exposure to climate-related hazards, population density, household and community resilience, and governance and political violence. Users can choose the importance of the factors and thereby understand how vulnerability assessments are impacted by adding in or excluding different variables that affect vulnerability.
