G20 Ministerial Meeting on Environment, Climate and Energy
Each G20 Presidency includes the organization of ministerial meetings on each of the main focus areas of the forum. These meetings are important opportunities to discuss and further develop issues of international relevance, thus building consensus around specific shared deliverables.
Many events will take place over the course of the year-long Italian Presidency, from institutional meetings (ministerial meetings and final Summit) to special events dedicated to the main issues of the global agenda, such as health, environmental sustainability, research and innovation, women’s empowerment and anti-corruption.
The Environment, Climate and Energy meeting will be chaired by Minister for the Ecological Transition Roberto Cingolani and Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti.
