In this edition, we delve into the intersection of biodiversity conservation, climate action, and peace in one of the world's most biodiverse regions: Latin America and the Caribbean. We also explore the importance of young voices in shaping the Climate, Peace, and Security agenda, providing an overview of emerging good practices and recommendations for stakeholders.
Additionally, we examine the complex relationships between land, water, and conflict in two locations in the Middle East. Firstly, the Climate Diplomacy Podcast discusses the reality of water scarcity in Libya, emphasising the need for sustainable water management and international cooperation. Secondly, our most recent Factbook Case Study looks into Yemen's Ma'rib governorate and the area’s intensifying competition over access to and ownership of land.
On another part of the globe, we highlight the importance of cross-border collaboration in preserving the cultural and natural landscapes of the South Caucasus through a joint cooperation strategy for Northern Armenia and Southern Georgia.
