It highlighted how regional organisations, cross regional alliances, and plurilateral initiatives stepped in with new platforms for collective action, policy coordination, and practical responses to climate related security risks.
The seventh edition of the Berlin Climate and Security Conference (BCSC) explored climate, conflict, and cooperation in a turbulent era. Better coordination and innovative collaborations are needed more than ever. Through taking stock of leading practice and convening figures from government, implementation organisations, and research, it advanced actionable climate security solutions amid growing instability.
